Authentic Shawarma Tradition Since 1968: Baba Restaurant Amsterdam
Baba Restaurant opened its first location in 1968 in the Halvemaansteeg, just off the lively Rembrandtplein. Thanks to our carefully prepared dishes and special spice blends, we quickly became a favorite among lovers of authentic shawarma in Amsterdam.
Baba Restaurant later moved to the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, in the middle of the famous De Wallen district, where we are still located today.
